I just looked up the text books I need and apparently my public speaking course "requires" two $80 books + a $15 one. Is this really necessary for a public speaking course? The professor isn't listed yet, but has anyone ever taken it and have any input?

If I have to buy 3 textbooks for this class I might not even take it :\
